Sunflower Illusions

Sunflower Illusions was designed by Quiltworx in 2023 as an addition to our collection of patterns from the Fireworks Block Mixer Series.

Foundation paper piecing, floating points, Template Layout Sheets, and curved paper piecing techniques for attaching the veins are all featured in these instructions.  After the paper piecing is completed, traditional curved piecing is required to assemble the blocks.

Sunflower Illusions is fun to make and easily adapted to using strips and background fabric from your own stash if you like.

Sunflower Illusions finishes out at 60" x 72".  

To expand to a QUEEN 84" x 96", you will need 1 extra package of Replacement Papers

To expand to a KING 108"x120",  you will need 2 extra packages of Replacement Papers
